Donnette Support Care is committed to ensuring that everyone receives the care that best suits their needs. Our Sitting Service offers round-the-clock support from personal care assistants, available twenty-four hours a day. This service involves two primary carers who share care responsibilities, providing continuous support throughout the day and night.
With our Sitting Service, you can rely on having assistance with both routine and unexpected needs. Our carefully chosen assistants are dedicated to delivering consistent, high-quality support, allowing you to maintain your independence and continue living at home comfortably.
What are Sitting Services?
Similar to Live-In Care, our Sitting Service provides continuous support throughout the day and night. However, unlike Live-In Care, your care assistants do not reside in your home. Instead, you receive two extended daily visits, each lasting 12 hours, with a day-care and night-care assistant available at all times. While they assist you with daily activities, they also respect your boundaries and understand if you prefer to handle certain tasks independently.
Each person's care package is tailored to their individual needs. A typical day may include:

Who are Sitting Services for?
Our Sitting Service is designed for older individuals who wish to remain in their homes but require continuous care support. It's ideal for those who prefer not to have live-in caregivers but still need round-the-clock assistance. This service is particularly suited for individuals with higher care needs, while those with occasional care requirements may find domiciliary care more suitable.
Live-In-Care
At DSC, we are committed to providing essential support and care for your ongoing health needs, especially for conditions like cerebral palsy, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease. Our services are tailored to help you maintain independence and achieve your health and wellness goals while remaining in the familiar surroundings of your home.
Live-in care involves a caregiver residing in your home with you, offering support during both daytime and Night-Time hours. The caregiver is entitled to breaks and requires suitable sleeping arrangements.
Having a live-in caregiver can greatly enhance various aspects of daily life. They assist with mobility, household chores, monitoring health changes, and attending medical appointments, allowing individuals and their families to maintain a relatively normal lifestyle.
